In a scenario filled with churches and denominations, each embracing diverse theological perspectives, concepts, and values, Tsidkenu Baptist Church shines brightly as a beacon of care, acceptance, and purpose. Located in the city of Curitiba, in the Tatuquara neighborhood, the church is distinguished as a community devoted to the Word of God, worship centered on Jesus Christ, and God's fraternal love for one another. This creates a light, wholesome, and empathetic atmosphere that goes beyond the confines of mere theoretical spirituality, resonating in their actions as children of God.

Para refletir os atributos que gostaríamos de passar para esta marca, comunicando a mensagem clara da Igreja, optamos por uma tipografia sem serifa, limpa, moderna e de fácil leitura. Ajustamos os espaçamentos de kerning, para transmitir uma sensação de proximidade ao passo em que deixa a marca com personalidade singular. Modificamos alguns caracteres de forma sutil para refletir os valores únicos que representamos, garantindo que a identidade visual seja não apenas memorável, mas também profundamente significativa.

To reflect the attributes we would like to convey for this brand, communicating the clear message of the church, we opted for a sans-serif typography, clean, modern, and easy to read. We adjusted the kerning spacings to convey a sense of proximity while giving the brand a distinctive personality. We subtly modified some characters to reflect the unique values we represent, ensuring that the visual identity is not only memorable but also deeply meaningful.

Na paleta de cores, optamos por um sistema monocromático, mas com muita alegria vinda do Espírito Santo. As cores preto e branco, são as cores mais utilizadas no mundo inteiro, possibilitando dinamismo e flexibilidade para a marca bem como para a identidade visual.

In the color palette, we chose a monochromatic system, but with plenty of joy inspired by the Holy Spirit. Black and white are the most widely used colors worldwide, providing dynamism and flexibility for both the brand and visual identity.

🇧🇷 / desafio e solução

Nosso maior desafio era criar algo que destacasse a Igreja Batista Tsidkenu e a representasse de forma integral no aspecto visual, bem como seus valores, missão e visão. Queríamos algo que fugisse de símbolos e conceitos já saturados no âmbito cristão, mas sem que a marca perdesse sua essência em comunicar. Para a solução, desenvolvemos um símbolo que remete à comunidade local (igreja) e também a sua missão de impactar de forma significativa suas esferas de influência, sendo suas casas, bairro, cidade, nação, e "até os confins da Terra." (Atos 1:8), o que torna a marca não apenas visualmente atraente, mas também emocionalmente ressonante para os membros da igreja.

conceito

Neste símbolo também utilizamos a abordagem da gestalt concentrando as iniciais da igreja IBT, gerando solidez e autoridade na comunicação. No centro do símbolo temos a gota que representa o Sangue de Jesus que por meio do seu sacrifício na cruz nos trouxe salvação e nos justificou. A parte central do símbolo remete à família igreja, a comunidade local, fortificando a mensagem de que a igreja é um lugar seguro e acolhedor, sendo muito mais que um lugar para frequentar, mas uma família para pertencer. A intersecção faz alusão ao conceito de que a igreja é o lugar onde o céu encontra a Terra! Ao redor temos outro círculo que faz alusão ao globo terrestre, fortificando a mensagem da igreja de enviar os filhos para impactar o mundo com a mensagem de Jesus. “Nossa dívida para o mundo é um encontro com Deus.” - Pr. Bill Johnson - Sênior Bethel Church. Um símbolo que garante boa aplicabilidade em qualquer superfície e será facilmente lembrado pelo público.

🇺🇸 / challenge and solution

Our biggest challenge was to create something that would highlight Tsidkenu Baptist Church and represent it holistically in the visual aspect, as well as its values, mission, and vision. We wanted something that deviated from symbols and concepts already saturated within the Christian context, yet without losing the brand's essence in communication.

For the solution, we developed a symbol that refers to the local community (church) and also its mission to significantly impact its spheres of influence, including homes, neighborhoods, cities, nations, and "even to the ends of the Earth." (Acts 1:8), making the brand not only visually appealing but also emotionally resonant for the church members.

concept

In this symbol, we also applied the gestalt approach by incorporating the initials of the church IBT, creating solidity and authority in communication.

In the center of the symbol, we have a drop that represents the Blood of Jesus, which through His sacrifice on the cross brought us salvation and justified us.

The central part of the symbol refers to the church family, the local community, reinforcing the message that the church is a safe and welcoming place, much more than a place to attend, but a family to belong to. The intersection alludes to the concept that the church is the place where heaven meets Earth!

Around it, there is another circle that alludes to the globe, reinforcing the church's message of sending its members to impact the world with the message of Jesus. "We owe the world an encounter with God." - Pastor Bill Johnson - Senior Bethel Church.

A symbol that ensures good applicability on any surface and will be easily remembered by the public.
